CING
CING, not a word you will find in the dictionary and even if you did it means something else to us.
CING is not a word you will find in the dictionary, and even if you did, it would mean something else to Epeti from Cameroon, Marie from Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Rotimi and Miguel from Nigeria, and Isatu from the Gambia, the cofounders of CING logistics group, a team created during the Young African Leadership Initiative training under the Business and Entrepreneurship track.
These five young African leaders hope to revolutionise the world of agricultural logistics by providing cold and dry chain storage and transportation facilities for farmers, market traders, processing companies, etc.
We pitched at the business and entrepreneurship track hackathon and came in third place out of 11 teams that pitched.
We hope to start implementation very soon.
Rotimi from Nigeria, the Chief Logistician Officer, Marie from Cote d'Ivoire the Chief Marketing Officer,
Epeti from Cameroon, the Chief strategic officer and agro-economist,
Miguel, the Chief Financial Officer, and Isatu, the Chief Operations Officer
