Failure…
It definitely has a way of slowing you down and making you ask better questions. Not to shame you, but to refine you. I’ve learned that it isn’t the end of the story, it’s the pause that forces growth. I’ve sat in rooms where my presence broke barriers, and I’ve also watched opportunities vanish after I gave them everything. Both experiences shaped me.
When life slows down, you learn quickly. It also tests to know how disciplined you are. I mean when your values are tested, and you’ve proven yourself through, you can boldly say you’re a man or woman of principles.
For years, I moved through life with clarity and confidence, building, contributing, and showing up fully. I’ve poured myself into work, community, and purpose, and I’ve also faced moments where doors closed, plans shifted, and certainty dissolved. Failure didn’t arrive loudly, it arrived quietly, forcing me to pause and sit with myself, my faith, and the uncomfortable question: what am I really standing on?
I hope you understand that without failures, you won’t appreciate your wins and with that I’d end with this popular quote “Failure is isn’t fatal, failure to change might be”.
